Policies

    • With all baths I will attempt to express the anal glands if they are full. If you find your pet has issues with the anal glands you may need to have a veterinarian express the glands internally from time to time.
    • All spa clients get a facial @ no additional charge. The blueberry facial is a high end, tear free facial shampoo for dogs.
    • I brush teeth at no extra charge. I encourage my clients to brush their dogs(s) teeth or find some dental regimen they can keep up with on a daily / weekly basis. Good dental health can do a great deal for a dog’s overall health.
    • All services are priced based on coat condition and attitude.
    • I will charge an additional fee for failure to disclose fleas, ticks, aggressive behavior and other grooming concerns due to change in time required to service/handle these issues.
    • Please be aware that pets with severe matting are in a health crisis– matting promotes heat exhaustion, sores, bacteria and pain. Pets that have severe matting WILL be shaved for their health. Once mats are removed pets may have sores and scabs. This liability falls on the parents and I may advise you to seek medical attention.
    • Pets that are Extremely aggressive will NOT be groomed. I encourage any owners with extremely aggressive pets to seek grooming through a veterinarians office. This pet personality may need anesthesia for their safety and that of the groomer. If you are AWARE your pet may have a temperament issue and FAIL to notify me you can and will be liable for ALL medical fees and Out of Work compensation if I am injured.
    • Blades and scissors are used around pets to achieve their grooming needs. Although I strive for safety, pets are a moving, dancing, licking, affectionate and hyper client. I hope you know I would NEVER intentionally harm your pet. In the extremely uncommon event that something should happen while I am grooming your pet Ie will inform you immediately and advise on the next steps.
    • I strive to ONLY use high end Pet Spa products, but just like humans, pets can have unique allergies and reactions to products should this happen you will see this within an hour of grooming and need to call me immediately. Call me ASAP if you believe that your pet is possibly having a reaction to a product used during the spa treatment.
    • If your pet has a nail that starts bleeding this is not uncommon, more than likely one nail has a longer quick and walking on pavement, pool concrete and sidewalks filed the nail down. Simply add a little All Purpose Baking Flour to the nail and apply pressure for a few seconds.
    • Should you discover something wrong with your pet please let me know immediately so I may help with the situation.
    • My Mobile Spa will always strive to park in the street, but if this is not possible I will park in your driveway. I cannot accept responsibility for damage to the grass, plants and other shrubbery.
    • My Mobile Spa must have a place to park that is within easy access of your home.
    • I pride myself on my patience and gentle touch. I will let you know if there is a certain part of the spa experience your pet does not like. I will not use “aggressive handling” techniques to complete the process. Example: I do not want to cause injury to your dog if he/she goes crazy when I try to trim the nails or pull ear hair. You and I will come up with an agreement on what to do if this is an issue.
    • There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. You will be charged full price for not giving a 24 hour notice to cancel your appointment.
    • I assess a fee of $30.00 for checks returned NSF, cancelled or closed account.
  • If you should be dissatisfied with my services please give me the opportunity to make you happy. I will strive to exceed your expectations.
